Making the Kyoot Scene

Oh, Landlord…

Yeah…been listening to the Phantom of the Opera recently. LOL And I continue to search for a good picture of Fatfat… *^___~*

I was rooting through my comp trying to get all of the shop pics I needed for the update and came across a set of pics that Kendra took of Landlord glomping a box of puffs.   I love the look on her face. “Don’t chu be stealin mah puffs.”

A week later I can babble about Acen! Goodness. It was awesome though. I met so many wonderful people and had a ton of fun! I saw some buddies from high school and met several online friends from deviantArt and elsewhere. Kendra and I hit on a really funy method to display Happi’s as well as conceal all of our food and junk during the convention. We stacked two of our tables and then threw and sheer curtain over the top that we could pin up and down with ease. We’ll be repeating that setup quite a bit I think.

The only mishap to the weekend was yet another Happi malfunction with an added makeup complication. Happi got a flat tire Saturday evening which wasn’t good. We patched him up and replaced his tube and he was set for Sunday. I couldn’t go out in costume though because of a bad allergic reaction I had to some new eye makeup I tried on Saturday. Ugh!! I got out of Happi and Kendra immediately asked me what was wrong with my face. I had a ton of freckle like red dots surrounding my eyes and going down my cheeks…most of it was in the exact shape of my eyeshadow around my lids and eyes. >.< Not cool. I’ve never had any bad reactions to makeup before so this was really weird. I was worried it would stay but it cleared up after a day or so! Woo!!! My parents came to visit on Sunday which was really fun! My mom was snapping pics with her new phone all over the place and my Dad had the cutest mini camcorder with him! It looked to be able the size of a Sony Cybershot, but was longer and bit less wide.

Next up is Akon in Dallas! I won’t have a booth number until we are at the door. Akon loves to keep booth assignments under wraps like that. Don’t know why. But I do have our booth for Anime Expo as well as New York Anime Festival. For Expo we will be at booth numbers 626 and 628. We are to the right of the entrance 2 sections/rows back. If you use the Copic Marker Oasis/Land of Plenty as a landmark, just follow the aisle behind that booth straight back and we are in the second section of booths. NYAF is currently booth 221. A little right of the entrance again but two rows back.

One of these days I’ll start taking Happi Travelog pics. I’ve missed two already. I forgot to take a pic of him infront of the Space Needle and another in Chicago.

Little Mo had just gotten advantaged when I took this shot…she didn’t like the little taste she got and was determined to get it off her back

I love lolcats and so I thought it would be fun to make a spin of featuring Momo, Fat and the Lord. I’ve got so many pics of those three…XD it’s horrible. but anyway…look for those. I’ll make more and post here.
